Next year we are going Halloween…

Bruce White and zombies introduce the Halloween theme for 2014Next year the SSFF will be screening on October 31st in Sunshine. We are inviting film makers to enter early. To encourgae this there will be no cost if you enter before April 30!!

We are hoping you will have plenty of fun with the Halloween genre. It's your chance for creative make up and costuming nd to do some parodys or scary things. Each year the winning films have captured Sunshine landmarks so we encourage you to use references and or visions of Sunshine in your film. This is important to our audience and they vote accordingly. In 2014 we are introducing a judge's award for the best technical film, looking at script, cinematography, make up and acting.

I would like to publicly offer my thanks to the committee of the Sunshine Short Film Festival for all their tireless work over the past 12 months to bring this event together. It was a great night, once again showing off the fantastic talents of people in Sunshine and what a diverse and quality community it is we live in. If it were not for the work of the committee in giving of themselves these talents and cultural elements within Sunshine would largely be unknown. I am deeply appreciative of the efforts and energy from Steve, Simon, Anita and Michael, the SSFF committee, that has been devoted to making this event a huge success over the past year. Congratulations team and next year will be bigger and better again.
Bruce White
SBA president and SSFF committee member
